Rural School Children Project

In 2004, some TPAA members initiated a project called the “Cloth Fund” which aimed to provide necessary items to children of rural provinces. The project was managed by an auxiliary member, Khun Sunee Jiyamapa. The project has grown rapidly in size and funding, and has benefited thousands of under privileged school children. Among the items that were given to the students are uniforms, warm-up clothes, shoes, notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, desserts, cookies, candies, soaps, shampoos, tooth brushes, toothpaste, and backpacks.  In addition, many schools were upgraded with computers, bathrooms, water tanks, medications, and clean water systems.
